Due to the diminishing oestrogen hormone menstruation stops in women around the age of 45.The ovaries stop producing eggs this state is called Menopause. The oestrogen hormone is essential for maintaining the overall health of a woman and its shortage causes some ailments many women. Menopause can also be termed as "oestrogen- hormone deficiency ailment" in women. This influences the quality of life adversely. This situation can become very traumatic for a woman since they are susceptible and fall prey very easily to psychological and mental stresses. It is necessary to anticipate the symptoms of menopause, namely hot flushes, sweating, headache, backache, arthritis and weight gain, wisely.

  • Arthritis, muscular degeneration, lower gut colon cancer.

Menopause is attested in the form of vasomotor instability. It results in complaints like irritation, hot flushes, sweating, palpitation, depression, frequent headache, backache, tiredness, insomnia, weight gain, paraesthesia, loss of appetite, a sensation of pins and needles in the extremeties, fibrositis and osteoarthritis (a form of arthritis in which the cartilages of the joints and adjacent bones are worn away).
